    Jeremiah 24: 6-7 This morning as I was doing my daily devotion, I asked God to show me what He wanted me to learn more about. I generally hold my Bible up on its spine, pray for God to show me His word and let the Bible fall open. This morning the Bible opened to Jeremiah 24.   • Stroke at 42 YIKES!!!

    Surviving a stroke can have many different looks to it.  One may have physical disabilities, mental disabilities, speech disabilities or even all three.  These can also look different to everyone who survives a stroke. years ago I had a stroke.  I was only 42.  I know, so young, right?  However, this stroke has affected me more than I want to admit.  Not only has it affected me, but my friends and family as well.   • Cleaning the Living Room or Any Room, With Disabilities

    When one has chronic illness, cleaning is not always easy.  No longer can we jump right up and expect to have the entire house clean in one morning or afternoon.   One has to plan to take breaks, and one of the most important things I have realized is that I have to give myself grace.  It too the entire day to clean just my living room.  Yes, you read that right, just my living room.   You want to know what the sad part is?  I really did not even get to do everything I wanted to do in that room.  I didn’t get the fan, baseboards, pictures or the…
